Semper Solaris is a residential San Diego-based solar installer. Founded on March 9, 2012, the company provided valuable services to the people of California. Semper Solaris is built by veterans from the US Marine Corps. The world “Semper” comes from the US Marine Corps motto “Semper Fidelis.” It means “always faithful.”

Semper Solaris’s services include solar panel installation & its maintenance, roofing services, batteries, and heating and air conditioning system.
Solar panels: Semper Solaris offers an option to its customers for made-in-America solar panels. The company has partnered with Panasonic to deliver 100% made-in-America panels. Panasonic monocrystalline panels come with a 25-year warranty. Other manufacturers include Silfab and Solaria.
Solar maintenance: Besides installation, Semper Solaris provides a complete solar system inspection. It covers the inspection of main connections & beakers, cleaning of inverters, replacement of wire nuts., etc. Further, the company provides a 90-day warranty on all its repairs.
Roofing: It also provides cool roof installation and replacement services to the people of California. Having a new roof installation that concurs solar panels improves the safety and efficiency of the system. Semper Solar uses Owens Corning roofing technology.
Storage batteries: Storing excess energy from solar panels during peak hours is very useful. When there is a power outage, you can use the excess energy stored in batteries. Semper sells Tesla Powerwall and LG Chem to have a continuous power supply.
Heating and air conditioning system: Semper gives efficient military graded heating and air conditioning systems to homeowners. It sells made-in-America gas furnaces and air conditioners.

Team
Semper Solaris employs 150+ Americans, including personnel from the armed forces. John Almond is the CEO and co-founder of the company. And prior to Semper, he had experience in the construction industry for over ten years. Kelly Shawhan, the co-founder of the company, had served the US Marine Corps as a captain. And he represents the military values of the company.
